At the Studio

Our Studios:
Although we work with clients all over the world, our headquarters are in Brighton UK, just an hour south of London on the beautiful Sussex coast. It is a very private and quiet harbour-side studio with free parking right outside. (See details below)

You are welcome to visit us at any the UK studio by appointment:

Overseas Studios:
We can also set up a temporary studio wherever we travel. So do not despair – if you aren’t UK based and you can’t travel here, we can still work together on your commission ideas. For instance we are represented by a gallery in Florida who can arrange everything. We will take references and photos wherever you are based and then we create the artworks back in the UK workshop. The work is then delivered to wherever you want it…  🙂

(See the Where We Do It page)

Address: Unit 6, Hove Enterprise Centre, Basin Road North, Brighton, BN41 1UY

Opening Hours:
Week days: 9am – 5pm – by appointment
Evenings: 5pm – 7pm – by special arrangement

How to Find Us

DIRECTIONS – We are located a little up the coast, west from central Brighton at the Hove Lagoon end of Shoreham harbour. If you know the area we’re near Millionaire’s Row, the Watersports Centre & Newhaven Fish Sales. We’re on the lower harbour road about level with the BP Station on the main Brighton coast road.

BY TRAINPortslade Station is the nearest which is a just up the line heading west from Brighton Station or Hove station (which you can also use). Visit www.trainline.com for tickets. Easy! We are about 8 minutes walk south from the Portslade station. When you reach the coast road at the bottom of Boundary Road, cross the road and turn left. Take the steps down into the harbour, which take you straight into Hove Enterprise Centre, which is a harbour side industrial estate of red brick workshops. You can also take a taxi or Uber for a minimal amount from any of the stations. Brighton is really tiny!

BY CAR – Do NOT trust your satnav once you get close!!! Basin Road North was divided years ago. At the other, unconnected end of the road is the port’s cement works. Satnavs often take you there for no reason. When you do find us, though, there is free parking on our forecourt right outside the studio 🙂

From M25/M23/A23 do not be tempted to head straight into Brighton at the end of the A23. Instead head West on the A27 and take the next exit or the one after and wiggle through Hove or Portslade. This will save you a lot of time. Your satnav should direct you this way at least.

Heading west from central Brighton: Take the left filter off the seafront road at the traffic lights at the end of Hove Lagoon. Go straight over the mini roundabout and continue along Basin Road North, past Chandlers timber yard on your left. You’ll pass Magnet kitchen supply and then an MOT garage on your right. After that there’s is a high grassy bank on your right and some low brick buildings on your left, which is Hove Enterprise Centre. Turn left at the letter box into this industrial estate and then turn left again. We are the 4th unit along, opposite the rusty fishing boat. We have a BIG pink sign – you can’t miss us!!

Heading east to central Brighton: Take the sharp, right turn from the right filter lane at the traffic lights at Hove Lagoon (soon after the pub on your right). Then follow the same instructions as above: Go straight over the mini roundabout… etc

BY BUS – The 700 bus stops right opposite the BP garage. Alight there and about 50 metres further west is a set of steps heading down to the harbour. They’ll take you straight to Hove Enterprise Centre. Also nearby are buses 2, 6, 7, 16, 25, 48 & 49.

BY FOOT – The harbour is right at the end of the promenade and a lovely walk along the coast from Brighton or Hove.
