This bespoke commission was designed to resemble a piece of a broken classical statue. The jagged edges and weathering of the bronze create the feel as well as the sculpted pubic hair based loosely on Michelangelo’s David’s!
It was designed to divide into two halves for transportation in a suitcase to the couple’s home in Greece, where it could be reassembled and mounted on a proper marble base using the copper posts.
