This matching pair are actually the same mum but two separate pregnancies. She had plaster cast them herself each time. The casts were not in great shape as plaster is fragile

and they were thin, irregular and crumbling and did not match. We repaired and stabilised the original casts, re-moulded them re-cast them in resin. Once in resin they could be adjusted and reshaped to match and the surface filled and smoothed to the quality levels that we work to. The resulting casts are a beautiful and durable matching record of her two pregnancies.
