Believe it or not that ugly baldy man is not Jamie! This severed head was a prop for a decapitation scene in a TV comedy horror pilot Jamie was working on as an SFX technician. It needed to bounce slightly and spatter blood as it hit the ground. Gross!
We’ve included this one as an example of a portrait head because the process is the same whatever the final outcome. We work in many different materials and this one is just a cheap TV prop of a far lower quality than our fine art pieces. Being bald and with fake eyes added it required none of the additional sculpting usually required to open the eyes and create the hairstyle. Eyes closed, bald heads which already have the desired expression require the least work and hence the cheapest full head casts.
